The Oyo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Engr Seun Fakorede has partnered with the German Academic Exchange Service, DAAD, to mentor Oyo indigenes for eight weeks.

The statement noted that there would be a Bootcamp for the eight-week fellowship and mentorship programme meant for Oyo State indigenes all over the world.
“Applications for the fellowship which is open to Oyo State indigenes home and abroad who have currently enrolled in a Postgraduate Program anywhere in the world, except Germany.
“The German Academic Exchange Service -DAAD, is the largest German support organisation in the field of international academic cooperation.”
The statement quoted the commissioner as saying that, “the partnership would see facilitators from DAAD mentoring 100 postgraduate scholars on how to apply and get awarded for the DAAD Fellowship”, as per NAN report.

The benefits of the DAAD Fellowship are:
• Full payment of expenses for the fellowship in Germany, monthly stipends,
• Visa-free access to more than 26 countries during the fellowship
• Post-DAAD Fellowship opportunities and benefits.
