As per Amritanshu Mukherjee in his hands-on-review of the device, "if you love technology even in the tiniest of ways, the Mi Mix Alpha will get your blood rushing through your veins. After all, it's a phone that has screens on all the sides -- ALL THE SIDES!
Technically, the top and bottom don't have screens but rest of the surfaces are covered by the display. There's a slim strip at the back that holds the cameras as well as the antennas but that's it. All screen everywhere."
Xiaomi says Mi Mix Alpha 5G features a 7.9-inch display measured from end to end, but tech YouTuber Marques Brownlee (also known as MKBHD) likens the actual size of its main section to that of an iPhone 11 Pro Max.
The Mi Mix Alpha has Snapdragon 855 Plus chip bundled with a 5G modem runs the show while a 4050mAh battery keeps the entire thing alive, with a 40W fast-charging system to fill it up quickly. You also get 12GB RAM and 512GB UFS 3.0 flash storage. No front camera but main camera performs the magic.
