According to the digital payment giant, the feature will roll out this week on both its app and website, and crypto services such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash will be available.
Customers will be able to trade with as little as £1.
PayPal's crypto service was first launched in the US in October, 2020. Users made payments with their cryptocurrencies when making purchases with online merchants.
Jose Fernandez da Ponte, PayPal's general manager for blockchain, crypto and digital currencies, told CNBC that “We expect it's going to do well in the U.K. It has been doing really well in the U.S.”
He is optimistic that PayPal's new service could help introduce more people to cryptocurrency.
