Nigerian Fuji music icon, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly called KWAM1 has cleared the air about his alleged extra-marital affair with one of the Queens of the Alaafin of Oyo, Queen Badirat.

Sarcastically reacting to the claims, he stated that many haters have been rooting for his downfall and working towards tarnishing his image since he became ‘the Mayegun.’
KWAM1 further charged his fans not to react or contend with the false claims, as such won’t influence his status or his music profession that had spanned over two decades.
Meanwhile, in a related development, Olori Badirat Ajoke, wife of the Alaafin, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi, has reacted to the rumours of an extra-marital affair with Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde Marshal.
In an exclusive chat with Kemi Filani News, the beautiful Queen who turned 30 last year, described the reports as fake, adding that the peddlers of the rumours will be sanctioned soon.
“Good Morning.. Thanks so much for contacting me….. The news is actually FAKE and all the blogs that carried it will be sanctioned….” she responded.
Also, in an instagram live chat video with U.S. based Nigerian, Aare Almaroof Bobagunwa Yekini, as shared by @themynigeria, Olori Badirat Ajoke, could be heard calling on the oracles in the Alaafin of Oyo’s palace to punish her if the allegations against her were true.

Fuji Musician, KWAM 1 has issued an official statement in response to an allegation that he’s having an affair with Olori Badirat Ajoke, the youngest wife of the Alaafin of Oyo.In the statement signed by his media aide, Kunle Rasheed, KWAM 1 described the allegation as the work of his enemies who are trying to bring him down.
KWAM 1 who was installed as the Mayegun of Yorubaland by the Alaafin also stated that he “cannot put the culture and tradition of the Yorubaland to disrepute” with the act he’s accused of.
The statement reads: “The attention of Fuji Maestro and Mayegun of Yorubaland, Alhaji Wasiu Ayinde Marshal, K1 De Ultimate, has been drawn to the rumour making the rounds in the past 48 hours, on social media platforms, where it has been alleged that the music icon was having an affair with Olori Ajoke, one of the wives of Alayeluwa, the Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi 111.
“Ordinarily, one would have waved off this allegation as one coming from the warped mind of one possibly numbed by high COVID-19 fever.
“But as known in these parts, a lie repeatedly told, has a way of transmuting to truth.
“Let me categorically state that the rumour is lies concocted from the pit of hell by those whose aim is to drag to the mud, the name of K1 De Ultimate and ultimately that of the most revered kingdom in Yoruba land.
“These agents of Lucifer have continued in their warped delusions to see K1 go to the ground just for being conferred with the title of Mayegun of Yoruba land. The Alaafin’s crime is the conferment of the honour, hence the grim plot to drag him down also. Moreover, the highly respected Monarch and his Olori have both debunked the story as baseless and unfounded.
“For the records, as the Mayegun of Yorubaland, K1 is aware of the customs and traditions of the Yoruba and as such, can not put the culture and tradition of the Yorubaland to disrepute.
“Let me remind the rumour mongers that Nigeria has adequate laws to bring anyone who has embarked on character assassination of the innocent to book. The fans and the general public should be rest assured that we will legally seek redress for this allegation”.
The allegation has also been denied by Olori Badirat Ajoke who called on the oracles in her husband’s palace to punish her if it is true.
